Asking your opinion on Want Ads
As a buying and seller of strange items, I would like to see the want ads for each region featured with Northern Community Internet consolodated so that an item posted from one site is displayed on ALL the sites. I find it cumbersome to navigate to individual towns or back to northerncommunityinternet.org to check the regional ads.

Just to be clear, all the ads from local communities are displayed in one place on the Northern Community Internet classifieds.
ReplyDeleteFor someone looking at a list on their local site, there is a link that will take them to a page in the Northern Community Internet classifieds that includes the same items they are looking for.
People who are looking to get the largest audience across the region probably ought to be putting their ads on the Duluth Craigslist in addition to their local community. There is a link to the Craigslist classifieds for Grand Rapids in the local search on grandrapidscommunityinternet.org.
I wonder whether we should have a link to craigslist on all our classifieds page along with a link to the local newspaper or other local classifieds. Similar to the calendar where we have a local calendar, but also links to to other calendars people are maintaining.
